“ The chicken and waffles was AWESOME! Hand breaded, perfectly cooked fried chicken, WOW. We also had the baked chicken salad which was good. We had the hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms, fries were crinkle cut, all was great. Lastly ordered the baked chicken thigh with alabam slaw and macaroni and cheese, everything was super great and homemade. Now we understand why there was so many take out orders going out while we were there. ”
“ I wanted southern home cooking and I got it! Fried flounder, black eyed peas (seasoned perfectly) , cabbage (cooked perfectly) and pickled beets. Everything was so good! My glass of sweet tea was never empty. They were close to closing when we got there and we were treated as if we were the first customers of the day. ”

“ I've been to this location about 3x and each time was pleasant. Friendly staff engaging staff . Once I asked for recommendations on a dinner platter and again I wasn't disappointed. The catfish and collard greens were delicious. They even gave me a sample of the greens before putting in my takeaway container. The service was friendly, the atmosphere laid back and the food delicious. Absolutely everything on our plates was seasoned to perfection. Sorry I didn't get previous pics. But today I ordered a cheeseburger and french fries and for my friend a chicken sandwich. My friend and I had no complaints. I will be back! ”

“ I have never eaten at this restaurant chain before. I am so glad that we tried it. You seat yourself, the main part of the menu is up on a board on the wall but there is another menu on your table. Our waitress whose name was Ainya, was amazing and I want the management to know that. She really made our night. She was so friendly and so kind and quick and sweet. Food was great. We tried BBQ pork, hamburger steak, black-eyed peas, lima beans, coleslaw, french fries, mashed potatoes, and squash casserole. Everything was excellent, the portions were great, the prices were great, we were extremely happy. Sorry, did not leave any room for dessert. ”
